This project is the result of years of musical exploration and collaborations with a new generation of jazz musicians. Featuring a mix of styles from Straight Ahead to Fusion and Latin Jazz, Puertorican saxophinst Angel Cuyar, has crafted compositions that reflect his life experiences and passion for music. “Chapter One” includes ten original tracks such as “De camino,” “Mi versión,” and “Punto de vista.” The album will be available on streaming platforms like Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music, as well as on CD. Cuyar’s musical journey began at the Escuela Libre de Música Ernesto Ramos Antonini in San Juan and continued at the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico, where he studied and performed with esteemed jazz musicians. His young career includes collaborations with artists like the Orquesta de Quique Talavera, Charlie Sepúlveda Big Band, Cucco Peña, and Sophy de Puerto Rico.
